Samsung Galaxy S8 : A True Flagship Killer Review

Samsung is back with another Awesome Phone. The South Korean Giant unleashed their new beast – Samsung Galaxy S8. As we all expect a Flagship Killer Phone everytime from Samsung , we hope this handset would be revolutionary and profitable considering the S7 fiasco.

Samsung Galaxy S8 offers one of the best features and specification currently in demand by the consumers. Thus, if you are looking to buy a splendid smartphone with budget not being a barrier, you can wait for the release of this one.

But let’s get you familiar with this beast . And when I am calling a handset – “Beast” ,man it is really something you would crave to have it in your hands.

Lets get to the Pros and Cons :–

• Design

I swear you won’t be disappointed with the display.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 flaunts a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display. The screen has a resolution of 1,440 x 2,960 pixels and an enormous pixel density of 570ppi. This display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass v5. The smartphone runs on Android v7.0 (Nougat) operating system.

They brought biggest and the most immersive displays for mobiles of these sizes, with the 18.5:9 display ratio, every detail fits exquisitely on the screen. That’s too much to ask really.

The Home button is hidden on the screen and will come up when you need it.
That means you get an unobstructed screen .The display is complemented by an equally smooth silhouette on the back. The rear camera sits perfectly unlike iPhone 7 Plus and Oneplus 3t which have bumps.

• Camera

Come on,We all want our handsets to outmatch our friend’s mobiles in terms of Camera. And S8 is not gonna disappoint us. Photos are very crisp and clear even in low light .

Front Cam boasts of 8MP with F1.7 Lens and Smart Focus. Your Selfie will never be blurry thanks to multi frame image processing 

Talking about Rear Camera , it is Best in class having Exmor-RS CMOS Sensor camera on the back and features Phase Detection autofocus, Dual Pixel autofocus, optical image stabilisation and dual LED flash. It is having large 1.4µm pixels which would help you in low light place. The Rear cam can make videos upto 4K which is quite good.

• Performance

Galaxy S8 is speedy and better-performing phone,thanks to the innovation of the 10nm processor. Galaxy S8 is also Gigabit LTE and Gigabit Wi-Fi ready. Wi-Fi on the Galaxy S8  supports 1024-QAM, meaning you get up to 20% faster download speeds compared to the previous model. It is powered by two quad-core processors clocking speeds of 2.3GHz and 1.7GHz respectively. It is backed by 4GB of RAM and Mali-G71 MP20 GPU. For storing your data, the smartphone comes with 64GB of onboard storage and also features a memory card slot that can handle microSD cards of up to 256GB. NO DOUBT, It’s a beast.

You could be little disappointed by 3000mAh li-ion Battery , But S8  provides you Quick charging  option and Wireless Charging to cope up with. The futuristic USB Type- C is given at the rear end .

Samsung Galaxy S8 will be launched at a dedicated Unpacked event in New York at 11am EDT (8:30pm IST), and will be live-streamed. It’s highly expected they will launch big bro i.e, Samsung Galaxy S8+ . Samsung Galaxy S8 price in India is expected to be Rs. 49,990 (777$ approx.) .
